After several years of mixed results with their City Edition uniforms—including designs intended to honor Hemisfair Park that were famously dubbed the 'Whataburger' uniforms by fans—the San Antonio Spurs are returning to a classic early-2020s design. The team is reviving the fan-favorite black jersey with iconic 90s Fiesta stripes and debuting a brand-new, matching court design.
The San Antonio Spurs have officially unveiled their 2025-26 Nike NBA City Edition jersey and themed court (sponsored by Ledger). This bold design pays homage to the team's past, present, and future by bringing back the best-selling City Edition jersey from the 2020-21 season, which was also voted a fan favorite.
As part of the NBA's "City Edition Classic Return/Remix Program," the Spurs are once again embracing their history with the iconic Fiesta color scheme. This collection, including the full uniform, will be available starting Tuesday, November 11th at the Spurs Fan Shop.Inspiration: The design first debuted in the 2020-21 season, drawing inspiration from the team's 1990s warm-up jackets and first brought the "brushstroke stripe" badge into the mainstream.Design Details: The jersey (to be worn through the 2026-27 season) features a classic black base with bold, horizontal Fiesta stripes across the chest and matching colored stripes on the shorts. The "San Antonio" wordmark places the team's home city at the forefront.Cultural Significance: While each version represents a different era, every player shares the pride of carrying on San Antonio's rich cultural legacy.New Partnership: The jersey features the logo of new partner Ledger, symbolizing "security, innovation, and autonomy," reflecting a shared vision between the Spurs and the global leader in digital asset security to inspire a new generation from San Antonio to the world.
The City Edition court also receives a vibrant Fiesta-themed visual update. The highlight is the return of the classic "brushstroke stripe" logo at center court—marking its first appearance there since 2002, the Spurs' final season at the Alamodome. The Fiesta colors are incorporated along the baselines and in the key, set against a classic black base, alongside the new Ledger and long-term partner Self logos.
The Spurs will wear these jerseys and play on the new court for 11 select games, starting with a high-profile matchup against the Golden State Warriors.11/13 vs. Golden State Warriors11/21 vs. Atlanta Hawks12/24 vs. Oklahoma City Thunder12/30 vs. Cleveland Cavaliers1/8 vs. Los Angeles Lakers1/16 vs. Milwaukee Bucks2/5 vs. Oklahoma City Thunder2/20 vs. Phoenix Suns2/22 vs. Sacramento Kings3/7 vs. LA Clippers4/11 vs. Dallas Mavericks
